Our Year 1 students have been investigating water. They have learned how it is absorbed into a variety of materials and how it looks, tastes and feels. Students performed an experiment by mixing blue food colouring with water and then adding oil. They discovered that the oil does not mix and sits on top of the water, something that can be very damaging for our environment.
