Shannon

Shannon Melican

Class of 2011 | School Prefect

In 2011 Shannon Melican received a Certificate of Distinction for Outdoor Education and a Certificate of Excellence from the Curriculum Council.
University of Western Australia
Shannon recently graduated from the University of Western Australia, with a degree in Chemistry and Archaeology.


Ashleigh Webster

Class of 2011 | DUX of School

University of Western Australia 
Ashleigh is presently completing her final semester of her degree at UWA. She is studying a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Management and Italian. She has recently completed one of her Italian units at a University in Bergamo, Italy. 
Ashleigh works part time tutoring Chemistry, Mathematics and Italian and also at a Winery where she works on the cellar door and sometimes as Duty Manager.


Jonty

Jonty Fidge

Class of 2011 | School Prefect

After graduating in 2011 Jonty took a gap year in 2012 to work in the Outdoor Education Industry.
In 2013, Jonty started a Bachelor of Recreation at Notre Dame in Fremantle. In 2015 his university group went on a final expedition to Karijini National Park, this was a culmination of the three year degree. It was entirely planned and implemented by students and involved them travelling through an extremely remote area for six days.
Jonty intends to complete a Diploma of Education when he has completed his degree to open up an array of opportunities, perhaps returning to the education industry, and who knows maybe even Swan Valley Anglican Community School.


Anjali

Anjali Parmar

Class of 2013 | Head Girl

Curtin University
Anjali is in her second year at Curtin studying Urban and Regional Planning. Anjali has now received a third academic scholarship for Curtin University.
She first received the Principals nomination worth $1000, a 2nd scholarship for Curtin in Geology and Finance and has recently received a third Scholarship for her present university degree.


Daniel

Daniel Bandy 

Class of 2014 | DUX of School

Daniel has been working part time this year and continues to be involved in Air Force Cadets at the 701 Squadron at Pearce. In January he attended a course and was promoted to Cadet Warrant Officer.
Daniel has also joined Gingin Fire and Rescue and has completed several courses: Bush Fire Fighting; Road Crash Rescue; First Aid and Manage Injuries and Pump Operations.
He is currently recruiting to join the Air Force.


Thalia

Thalia Wilkinson 

Class of 2015 | Senior Police Ranger Sergeant

WA School Based Apprentice of the Year 2015

Thalia was awarded the School Based Apprentice of the Year 2014 for Polytechnic and furthered her success in being awarded Western Australia’s School Based Apprentice of the Year 2015, out of approximately 300 students involved in either school based traineeships or apprenticeships from some 90 schools.
Currently at TAFE Thalia is studying a Cert III in Electrotechnology. Thalia is also working at Collins Electrical in Balcatta full time.
