2018 WACE & ATAR Results

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am delighted to advise you of the WACE results for Swan Valley Anglican Community School for 2018. A splendid 96.83% of our students met the requirements for graduation and will receive the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

The Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) results for Year 12 students were released and again our students have performed exceedingly well, achieving our second highest ever median ATAR score of 83.70. This is a great testament to the dedication and commitment of our students and staff.

Of our ATAR students, it is worth noting:

  • 6 (16.22%) students gained an ATAR of between 90.00 – 99.95
  • 15 (40.54%) students gained an ATAR of between 80.00 – 89.99
  • 6 (16.22%) students gained an ATAR of between 70.00 – 79.99
  • 4 (10.81%) students gained an ATAR of between 60.00 – 69.99

The following students deserve special recognition for their outstanding ATAR scores:

  • Aariyana Rashed (99.30)
  • Hayley Powell (96.50)
  • Jessica Gillibrand (92.55)
  • Matthew Cox (90.40)
  • Megan Ledward (90.40)
  • Caitlin Whittle (90.25)

I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to all of our graduating students. Many have strived for personal bests, achieved their goals and, as a result, should justifiably feel extremely proud of themselves. We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours and we look forward to hearing of your accomplishments. Please keep in touch!

I would also like to thank all of our fabulous staff at SVACS and, of course, our parents and families. The partnership between home and school is crucial in helping our students achieve their best.

Yours sincerely

Melissa Powell
