Secondary School Co-Curricular Activities
There are an abundance of Co-Curricular activities awaiting students at Swan Valley Anglican School from academic opportunities, sports clubs and drama to photography, mock trials, debating and everything inbetween.
- The Co-Curricular Program is important for a number of reasons:
- It is well recognised that involvement in Co-Curricular activities leads to a greater sense of well-being and an increased sense of belonging – both essential in the Middle Years
- Recent research (Richie, G 2018), has found that involvement in Co-Curricular leads to improved engagement and academic results.
- The Co-Curricular Program provides a showcase for students’ unique talents and gifts
The Co-Curricular Program is published twice a year in February and July on the School website and on SEQTA Engage.
