EISA Cricket Carnival 2016

On Friday, 1 April selected Year 6 students participated in the Ellenbrook Interschool Association's (EISA) cricket carnival at the new Ellenbrook District Open Space. Although the sky seemed gloomy, our students' behaviour and skills were far from that, placing 3rd overall across the three divisions.

As all students were exemplary in regards to their attitude and involvement, fairest and best players for each division were a hard choice, with all players being deserving contenders. However, in the end, only one person per team could take out the prestigious awards, and they were:

Division 1: Benjamin Tompsett
Division 2: Alex Champion
Division 3: Matilda Sim

A special thanks to Mr Avins and Mrs Finis for their assistance on the day and Miss Ashby for all her hard work upskilling the students in Physical Education classes in preparation for the day and of course her assistance on the day too.
