WACE & ATAR Results 2019
There were some excellent individual ATAR scores this year. This is a great testament to the dedication and commitment of our students and staff. Of our ATAR students, it is worth noting:
- 17.65% students gained an ATAR of 90.00 or above
- 41.18% students gained an ATAR of 80.00 or above
- 52.94% students gained an ATAR of 70.00 or above
- 76.47% students gained an ATAR of 60.00 or above
The following students deserve special recognition for their excellent ATAR scores:
- Tanvi Bhudia (93.95)
- Kaitlin Pradhan (93.15)
- Lachlan Rowland (92.85)
All but two of our Year 12 students (95.35%) met the requirements for graduation and will receive the WACE from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.
It should be noted that our Year 12 cohort of 2019 was smaller than in recent years. As a result, each student’s individual results have a much greater impact on the total percentages than would be the case for a larger group. Our Year 12 cohort for 2020 will be considerably larger, in fact, there will be more than double the number of students compared to 2019.
We would like to offer our sincere congratulations to all our graduating students. Many have strived for personal bests, achieved their goals and, as a result, should justifiably feel extremely proud of themselves. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours and we look forward to hearing of their accomplishments.
We would also like to thank all our fabulous staff at SVACS and, of course, our parents and families. The partnership between home and school is crucial in helping our students achieve their best.
