The Junior Years attended an engaging and highly motivating incursion by Access Plus WA Deaf. Nobuo and his interpreters Luke and Jayde, communicated with the audience using Auslan, the official sign language of Australia. Nobou taught the students a range of simple sign including the alphabet and how to sign their name, various greetings and other important words. The students then engaged in some activities to practise their newfound skills.
The Junior Years students spent the remainder of the week learning more AUSLAN so that they could sign a nursery rhyme and share it with their Early Years buddies.
