Healthy Mind & Body Week

During Healthy Mind & Body Week at Swan Valley Anglican Community School, students participated in a myriad of activities designed to remind us all about the importance of looking after ourselves in every way. Some of the Mind activities included Jenga, Chess, Connect 4 and Tic Tac Toe.

In keeping with Healthy Mind & Body Week, Year 10 Physical Recreation classes participated in a five-week Aerial, Meditation and Acro-Yoga program at Empowered Centre in Midland. Students developed their teamwork, fitness, flexibility and strength through a variety of partner and aerial techniques. They also had the opportunity to participate in meditation sessions during their lunch break.
