Swan Valley Anglican Community School has an opportunity for a customer focused Finance Officer to join our team. Exhibiting an ability to work independently and foster close working relationships, you will work closely with the Business Manager and Assistant Business Manager. The focus of this role to prepare, issue, and follow up on invoices for tuition, transport, and other school services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on invoices for tuition, transport, and other school services.
  • Process receipts, direct debits, and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding debts.
  • Prepare monthly debtor reports.
  • Refer to the Duty Statement for additional responsibilities and expectations.
     

Personal Profile, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in accounts receivable and/or debt collection, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Prior experience in a school environment is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases (working with Synergetic will be highly regarded).
  • Process-driven, naturally inclined towards continuous improvement.
  • Displays personal philosophies that align with the mission and values of the AngliSchools and Swan Valley Anglican Community School.
