We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Primary Teacher to join our collegial and committed Primary School team on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE) for a 1 year fixed-term contract, commencing January 2026.

About The Role

As an Upper Primary Teacher at SVACS, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and personal excellence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching practices and provide timely feedback to students and families.
  • Actively support the School’s Anglican Identity and core values: Commitment, Compassion, Excellence, Inclusion, Resilience, and Respect.


About You

You are a compassionate and organised educator who brings:

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches and student-centred learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and active participation in the school’s co-curricular program.
