The cast and crew of this year’s Senior Years Drama production ‘Così’ are currently hard at work putting the finishing touches on their performance. ‘Così’ will be performed by a small, talented cast of SVACS students from Years 9-12 at Midland Junction Arts Centre over four performances during Week 3 this term. Starring Riley Miller, Cameron Purdy, Max Harris, Lisa Pudhota, Jaimee Polain, Jett Brownlie, Grace Trainor, Bella-Rae Powell, Charlotte Gibson and Tess Wearing.
‘Così’ is an Australian classic play by renowned Aussie playwright, Louis Nowra. Set in an old burnt-out theatre within the gates of a 1970’s Melbourne mental asylum, a diverse cast of patients are brought together by Mozart’s Italian Opera ‘Così Fan Tutte’ - yet no one can sing and no one speaks Italian! The story is both hilarious and heart-warming, with dynamic and quirky characters that you will inevitably fall in love with.
