11th of November 2019 marks 101 years since the Armistice was signed to end World War I — a conflict that claimed the lives of 60,000 Australians.
Our whole school observed Remembrance Day with a special assembly, including one minute's silence to remember those who have given their lives in service to their country in wars and conflicts around the world. We also remembered those who have come home injured or ill, in body or spirit, as well as those who bravely serve our country today. Lest we forget.
