YEAR 12 VALEDICTORY
We began Valedictory Week with a fabulous Year 12 Breakfast, prepared by our Café and school staff, followed by a Eucharist at St George’s Cathedral in Perth. Our School Chaplain, The Reverend Toby Sherring, delivered a heartfelt homily for this memorable occasion.
Upon returning to school, our Year 12 students showcased their creativity with some fantastic outfits for the Valedictory Dress-Up Parade throughout the school.
The final day of Valedictory Week was filled with special moments. We began with the ceremonial tree planting in our Year 12 Avenue of Trees. The Class of 2025 chose the following words for their plaque: Compassion has been our compass through every change. As our school grows, so do we—rooted in friendship, shaped by every voice, and strengthened by challenges. The foundation we've built and the memories we've made will become a legacy to inspire others.
During the Valedictory Assembly, we acknowledged our Veteran students who have been with us for 14 years and presented all Year 12s with graduation certificates and gifts.
A highlight of the day was the traditional Walk of Honour. Our Year 12s joined hands with Pre-Primary students—each holding a balloon—as they made their final farewell walk. The balloons were later gathered and tied together for celebratory photos with family and friends.
We concluded the week with a beautiful Valedictory Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Perth, shared with loved ones—a fitting end to a week of celebration, reflection, and joy.
