We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and passionate Secondary English Teacher to join our team from Term 1, 2027.
Reporting to the Head of English, the successful candidate will be a dynamic educator with the ability to engage, challenge and inspire students across Years 7 to 12. As a valued member of our collaborative English Department, you will contribute to a culture that fosters a love of literature, critical thinking and academic excellence.

About You
You are a compassionate and organised educator who brings:
· A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration
· Ability to teach ATAR English (an advantage)
· Demonstrated experience teaching English across Years 7 to 12
· Strong knowledge of the Western Australian English curriculum
· Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
· Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction
· Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
· Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional development
· Willingness to support the Mission, Vision and Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School
