Long Service Leave Cover – Term 1, 2027
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join our Secondary School for a fixed-term long service leave cover position during Term 1, 2027.
This rewarding opportunity will see you delivering engaging and contemporary Religious Education programs that encourage students to explore faith, spirituality, ethics and the Anglican tradition within a supportive learning environment. You will inspire students through meaningful and student-centred learning experiences, fostering critical thinking, reflection and respectful dialogue.
Reporting to the Head of Humanities, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and our School Chaplain to create inclusive and engaging classrooms that support student wellbeing, academic growth and personal development.
About You
You are a passionate and collaborative educator who brings:
- A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration.
- Experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary setting.
- Additional teaching areas that would be advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.
- The ability to create inclusive, engaging and rigorous learning experiences.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
- A willingness to support the Mission, Vision, Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School.
