Teacher of Science

Commencement: Term 1 2027

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Secondary Science Teacher to join our team from Term 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver a high-quality, contemporary Science curriculum across Years 7 to 12. Reporting to the Head of Science, you will create engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments that foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and academic excellence. As part of a collaborative and dynamic Science Department, you will be passionate about inspiring students and delivering impactful learning experiences.

About You

You are a compassionate and organised educator who brings:

  • A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science across Years 7 to 12
  • Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Science curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional development
  • Willingness to support the Mission, Vision and Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School
